Koh is the brainchild of Paul Kenney, a former member of Mistress, and founder of Fukpig. He reunited with his former Mistress band mate, Darren Donovan (also ex-Sally and current Burden of the Noose bassist), plus recruited Rich Stanton (also of Burden of the Noose), Paul Harrington and Oliwia Sobieszek to complete the line up. Last year the band released their debut album Altars and then went on to play Damnation Festival and Bloodstock.

On October 13th Kroh will release their new album Pyres via Devizes Records (pre-order available here), which continues the same line as on Altars, with crunchingly heavy doom riffs and beautiful, clean melodic vocals.

The band now premieres the trakc ‘Rigor Mortis’ through the video which you can watch below. The band comments: “Shot partially on location at sunrise, on an ancient 12th Century ruin built high on a massive hill in Wales called “Dinas Bran” , the name is variously translated as “Crow Castle,” “Crow City,” or “Hill of the Crow,”. This is our Ode to death.”
