A genre-smashing behemoth of psychedelia, blues, kosmische and breakbeats, since forming last year Newcastle five-piece Behold A Pale Horse have earned themselves an enviable live reputation, having recently played alongside the likes of Can’s Damo Suzuki, Warm Digits, Magic Wands, Ultrasound and Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation.
Now the band have decided to put out their first recorded music with the arrival of their eponymous debut EP which brings together six pulsating tracks of neo-psychedelia that takes its cues from the likes of NEU!, Dead Indians, MC5, The Doors, Grizzly Bear and early Pink Floyd.
Their self-titled EP will be released on Janaury 19th through Eggs in Aspic. Listen to it exclusively here:
