Weltesser know how to write riffs, horrid, off kilter riffs that have a real unsettling quality. ‘Crestfallen’ is fucking awesome!

‘False Highs, True Lows’ is an unrelenting sonic landscape, bleak, beautiful and captivating from the first bar of the intro to the last bar of spoken vocal at its end. Plebeian Grandstand do not seem content with just making extreme metal, instead they are merging genres and breaking out of its confines. – By Fraser Samson

Hval is doing things entirely on her own terms and in the process is exorcising something within herself. Apocalypse, Girl is a focused and challenging listen and one that I highly recommend giving your time to. By Fraser Samson
