The noise mongers in the U.K. are making fast, dirty and relentless noise. Oh and did I mention it’s short? Well, in my books this is the right kind of attitude for grindcore, so you lads are doing it right.
After sampling acts such as Horse Bastard, Confine and The Afternoon Gentleman, the future of U.K. noise looks to be in safe hands as is the case across the English channel in France. I managed to see both Horse Bastard and Oblivionized at Obscene Extreme Festival and I was simply blown away.
The latter teamed up with Human Cull to release This Septic Isle 7” split that will churn your brain into nice pink goo inside your skull. As it rips you to absolute shreds for about 8 minutes with 2 tracks from Oblivionized and 4 from Human Cull.
I am lost for words when it comes to describing how perfect this is, absolute obliteration. Analogeddon is here and it’s here with a vengeance as these lads produce noise that will leave you absolutely oblivionized, culling the shreds of your humanity to pieces.
This incredible 7” split is limited to 100 copies, it comes encased in a sturdy 4 panel cardboard jackets and amazing premium inner sleeves containing feature artwork by Luis Sendon and Arif of Wormrot. A 113 of the records were pressed on bright yellow wax for a special limited package. About 200 copies pressed on crystal clear vinyl and are available from the band and selected distros. Furthermore, 313 vinyl were pressed on solid white can be purchased exclusively through WOOAAARGH. For the traditional record collector, the remaining copies were pressed on pure black vinyl.
So if you’re a fan of good noise, this 7” is the perfect treat and it will piss off your neighbours, additionally it will scare children away. Win-win in my opinion! Get it!
