A group of creatives in London have joined forces to create an all-new anthem supporting women’s football teams in the UK ahead of the summer season. Heading up the female-led collective as Creative Director is singer-songwriter Anna Johnson, a student at London Music School ICMP and a keen advocate of creating more opportunities and spaces for women.

From female producers to influencers, mixing and mastering engineers and football professionals involved, the project has seen community-based writing workshops, music video production and the unvelining of a huge graffiti piece in East London to celebrate the release of the track.

The collective has chosen to support Solace Women’s Aid, a UK-based charity supporting women and children through abuse and violence for over 50 years. Money will be raised through purchasing the anthem and ticket costs to attend the release party happening later this summer, more to be revealed soon. Supporters can also choose to donate directly to the cause via Go Fund Me.

The record features Truemendous, Lavz, MC Deadman, Annie Jay, Barbara Pursey, Sidney Busby, Austel, Kaspara, Indira May & So Sha and is an absolute banger. Get this in your ears.
