Blurb by Richard Collins
London’s HAG describe themselves as a ‘heavy/rock/eagle/metal’ band, I’m not sure where the fuck ‘eagle’ comes into it, but I do know their new album Fear of Man is a masterpiece. It’s been on constant rotation since I first heard it and am delighted it’s finally getting released early next year on DNAWOT Records. Think Torche meets… I don’t know, some other great band.
2015 has been a golden patch for game changing albums coming out of London from the likes of Bad Guys, Hey Colossus, Shitwife, Ghold, Teeth of the Sea, Early Mammal etc and this record indicates that it’s not going to slow down in 2016.
Here’s a sneak peak of the album in the form of the track ‘Kingdom-O’, enjoy!
Londoners, go and see them at the Cosmic Carnage gig on Saturday at the Brixton Windmill with Echoes and Dust favourites Blown Out, Hey Colossus and Gnob. More details here.
