Teiger (pronounced “tiger”) are a fast-rising three-piece operating at the intersection of psychedelic rock, progressive textures, and cinematic alternative music. Emerging in 2022, the band have quickly built a reputation as enigmatic musical shapeshifters – crafting collagist, ethereal soundscapes that defy easy categorization.

Led by the siren-like vocals and unorthodox guitar work of Talie Rose Eigeland, Teiger’s sound is defined by dynamic contrast and emotional depth. Alongside her, Jon Steele (drums) moves between intricate and thunderous patterns, while Phillip Eldridge-Smith’s highly melodic and unconventional bass playing anchors and elevates the trio’s interplay.

Despite their recent arrival, Teiger have already earned widespread attention across the UK scene, including support from BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing, a sold-out vinyl release via Rough Trade, and nominations for Hard Rock Hell Best New Band and Radio Wigwam’s Best Indie Rock award.

Their debut album Teiger (2023) established them as one of the UK’s most original emerging acts – setting the stage for our premiere ‘Bloodwork’ – haunting and deeply personal first single from from their forthcoming second album, marking the band’s darker, more intense evolution.

‘Bloodwork’ has always felt like a live performance piece to us, so we wanted the video to be a companion to the music rather than an illustration of it. The track comes from a very personal place, and we wanted the visuals to capture that feeling of vulnerability, tension and release. Having Jo Quail present felt important too – her distinctive approach to the cello became such a defining part of the track’s identity, and we were so grateful to have her step into this world with us.

‘Bloodwork’ was released on June 26, 2026 via Kycker and can be streamed and purchased here on Bandcamp.
